So they're putting out a new RE movie AND a new UNDERWORLD movie.

Underworld movies are...not good. Like, I fucking LOVE the first two and think the second two are fun if only okay, but they're shit movies. I can be honest wiht myself.

BUT I AM SO FUCKING EXCITED FOR A NEW ONE OH MY GAWD D:

I'ts the one thing that makes me think of high school in a way that isn't shitty.

So what, it's like if The Breakfast Club turned into a super hero movie after the first twenty minutes? Becuase I might be okay with that.

Also, saw Batman v Superman. It's a funny movie in that I didn't think it was a trash pile, but other than Lex, it has no redeemable qualities whatsoever. So it's kind of a trash pile.

Just fuelin' that fire that I fucking don't like Superman or Batman.

Yoooo, looking legit.

Saw the trailer leaked last night, but it was in shitty off-screen vision. Glad I waited.

Last year sometime i had heard about this Godzilla anime movie, and apparently it debuted on Netflix a few days ago. I just watched it, and it really was not very impressive. The whole thing was animated in this CG cell-shaded style, which i'm okay with with video games, but really do  not like when it's used for movies or tv shows. Additionally, none of the characters were interesting, the plot was overly complicated and confusing (and for a Godzilla movie, that's saying something), and there wasn't much action until near the end. Overall, i just found it a very boring experience.

I mentioned this on Discord to anyone visiting the Impact Crater text chat, but I've recently saw the 20th Pokemon movie.

I must say that movie was quite surprising, but surprising in a good way with the subtle Pokemon Mystery Dungeon references in it.  I couldn't elaborate more on Discord since there's no spoiler protection in there, so I'll mark the following in spoilers.  This contains spoilers to the 20th movie and the PMD games.

Spoiler

All-in-all I like all the callbacks and the PMD nods, and I'm interested in this movie's sequel that focuses on Johto.  The movie hits Japan first this year though.

I just saw A Wrinkle in Time. I liked it. It wasn't without its flaws. The first part felt a bit too much like a Disney Channel movie, for example, but once they went off to space, it started getting good. Probably my biggest gripe was that this one scene from the book that left a pretty large impression on me as a kid was cut out from the movie version. When i read the book, i was in like 5th grade, but i still have my old copy, and as soon as i got home, i grabbed it off my shelf and thumbed through it to that one chapter. It was called Aunt Beast, and even skimming through it now, it is still is filled with such amazing imagery and feelings, and it is so disappointing that it wasn't in the movie. Other then that, though, the rest of the movie, particularly the third act, did a good job hitting a lot of the emotional moments that i remember from when i was a kid.
