Looks like Revelations will be getting ported to the Xbox 360 and PS3 before too long. Versions for those respective consoles just got rated by the South Korean version of the ESRB. No official news yet, but you can probably bet we'll see it soon enough. Perhaps a Wii U version down the line as well?

I guess this is good news but I hope that it's enhanced and not just ported directly.

Here's hoping for updated character models and textures! Game looks great on a 3DS, but would look pretty horrible on a big screen.

Then again, if they do that then it's almost like remaking the game entirely at this point.

I said "ported directly" but I referred strictly to the gameplay. I'd be very surprised if it didn't have upgraded graphics. Then again, MGS HD Collection's PSP game looks like total shit. And then once again, that game was part of a compilation and not a standalone title, and lastly the PSP game was Konami and not Capcom (different company). So that doesn't mean anything. :P

I don't think I'd pay money for that game all over again on a home platform just to have better graphics, but if it had new content too then maybe I'd bite. Raid Mode was the shit though. I hope all future RE games will have a Raid Mode in replacement of The Mercenaries, if we can't have both. I think I spent more time in Raid Mode than I did in Story Mode.

Well, Capcom also ported Monster Hunter 3 directly to the PS3. And by directly I mean even the PSP textures were used, not the Wii ones. Oh god it looked awful...high resolution but still pretty bad.

Then again the RE4 HD port wasn't that good either. It was the PS2 version without any of the nice Gamecube lighting. Was sorta ew.

...yet I still played it.

I think I might accept it if it was a $20 download with graphics as-is.

Aaand it's legit. The complete achievement list got leaked recently. </old> Worth noting, the game has the full 1,000 GS, meaning that it won't be an XBL Arcade title. It'll be a full release, or at the very least it will be released via Games on Demand, like RE4 HD was.

Official PR on this now:  http://www.gonintend...story&id=194633

Coming this May 21 for PS3, 360, and Wii U.  This enhanced remake is also compatible with RE.net.

Horror games aren't my thing, but there you go if you like horror games.

>$50

What.  I was expecting a $20 or $30 download...are the graphics that much better?  Might buy on PC.

Yeah, it's been confirmed to have much better graphics and lighting than the 3DS version.

Here's the thing about Revelations, though: I feel it's a has a bit of a "Resident Evil Lite" vibe to it, which is acceptable on a portable platform, but I fear it'll feel a bit too hollow as a home console game. Raid Mode was the shit, though. I can't back that enough. I spent more time on Raid Mode than I did on (cumulative playthroughs of) Story Mode. Eventually I beat everything with an S-Rank and maxed out my level, which took a LONG FUCKING TIME, and I secured some very high-leveled Legendary weapons. I was lucky enough to get those ONCE as it is; I'd hate to have to get them all over again, or even worse, live knowing that I can't get lucky enough to get them again.

If I get this game, I'm definitely getting it on Wii U. I already bested the most time-consuming and challenging trials the game has to offer, and I would hate for my Xbox Achievements not to display my accomplishments. On Wii U, not only will the gameplay be a lot better, but I won't have to worry about my Achievements misrepresenting my accomplishments. I'm proud of what I've accomplished in Revelaitons™, and I'd rather appear as I don't have the game at all than it look like I only half-assed my playthroughs.

Anyway, here's a dump of some screenshots:

dat jessica-ass...

As you can see, the graphics are definitely a lot better than on 3DS... but... What the fuck is up with Chris's gun? It looks like total shit. :|
