Their top guy's KDR was like 30:9 and they were all celebrating it like Damn! 30 kills!

That's the thing that gets me.  I just want to play for fun.  If I win, nice.  If I get a good KDR, bonus.  If I don't go 70-1, it's not the end of the world as those players put it last night.

Also that AGR bit?  I know normal weapons can't do shit to it, but C4, Black Hat, and EMPs can.  If those idiots had half-a-mind that I was trying to be bait so somebody can kill that bot without being killed in return, that bot wouldn't have been able to stay on the field for as long as it had.

That's the thing.  I may not have the experience or the arsenal to fight well right now, but I sure as hell can be useful as a distraction or at least as a meat shield.  =P  Remember that one Hijacked round where I concussed a guy and you and X took him out?  That was awesome teamwork.

Even while the whole shit of bad KDR rounds, I was getting a number of Assists at least.  Early on you may not be able to tank or be a front line player, but you can be helpful as a utility/assist guy.

Well had a number of ho-hum rounds with X and Plant this afternoon.  The only thing that could be notable from me today is getting a very lucky EMP from a Care Package to destroy four enemy electronics (UAV, Counter-UAV, Hunter Killer, and one other).

Also in a different match one of my Hunter Killers killed an enemy UAV.  =O

EDIT - I also forgot.  I unlocked the Engineer perk today.  Now I just need to get some Black Hats at Level 25.

I had ups and downs too. I was able to get two escort drones in those kill confirmed matches which completely dominated the match for us. Got a few death machines too. I'm starting to enjoy kill confirmed due to the ease of getting scorestreaks but I still prefer hardcore over anything.

Well I got some good news.  Because of the Wii U update that allows system-level adjustments of the screen display (to fight overscan), my Blops 2 recording that I grabbed from Theater Mode looks better even for 480i.

I have to find the time to look through Theater mode to see what I else I can record.

Yeah, EMP Systems are a rare find in Care Packages. Once you detonate it, look up in the sky and see the beautiful blast :D!! Hahah, I didn't notice it until many days into my playtime. ^__^;

I too was shocked the first time I took out a UAV with a Hunter Killer drone, but if you aim way up at the sky and there's a UAV up there, it's going to target the plane and take it out. I think you can also throw them at choppers and shit, but I haven't tried.

And yeah, take off Dexterity and put Engineer on. As X said, Engineer is the most useful perk of all, allowing you to see not only bullshit such as Bouncing Betties, Shock Charges, and Claymores, but also more serious threats such as Guardians and Sentry Guns long before you get close to them. You'll probably feel like a fucking turtle while you try to climb ladders and vault over shit, but you'll get used to the slower speed before long.

Yeah, take off Dexterity and put Engineer on

So I went to Disneyland yesterday.  I counted at least 20 people wearing CoD:BLOPSII shirts.  One of which was the cover art of the game and the words, "Happy Birthday Brian".

Apparently when you are ready to have fun, you say it by wearing a Black Ops shirt!

Well another day of getting my ass kicked.  When I'm killing someone, I get somebody else or a whole group killing me.  Other times I find someone and then I'm dead before I can even counter-attack.  Then on occasion I lay into someone and they get out of it and kill me.

Ugh.  This is like a Level 1 Goldeneye Wii player facing 7 Level 56 players of all types from spammers, campers, and tankers.  Since starting I've only had one round where I nearly went 2/1 KD (15 and 8) last week, came in 4th in a Gun Game (video coming soon) a couple of days ago, and barely get positive on that last Hijacked match today.

Tankers are the biggest reason I bitch like hell when I play on Core. You prolly hear me say it all the time. That's why I strongly suggest you learn your way around the maps. How do you feel around them so far? There are probably some maps that you aren't as familiar with just yet, such as Aftermath and Overflow because those don't get picked as much. You probably know your way around Standoff pretty well, and maybe Raid too. But yeah, once you develop a mental map of each level, you'll want to start hitting up Hardcore mode.

I've never seen a clan of 1337 CoDfags on Hardcore like we did that one night in Kill Confirmed. The worst thing you have there is a clan of rednecks whose names all appear to be a mix of letters and numbers. Their clan tags are actually distinguished roman numerals (in order of which they joined?), but the first characters in all of their names is T4.Z5, and the rest of their name is mixed letters and number-letters. So an example would be something like [III]T4.Z5_F4G7, and such a user would go by the name "Faggot." These guys are the fucking worst in all of Hardcore. They are inappropriately arrogant fuckers that talk shit and camp LIKE HELL, yet they'll bitch about everyone else camping. Many even go as far as to create emblems that antagonize other clans that they deem to be notorious campers. There's a shitload of those assholes in that clan, too--maybe 13.

But my point is that you should start playing on Hardcore as soon as you get a feel for the maps (because on Hardcore you don't have a map on the HUD--that is, you entire HUD is off). The best thing about Hardcore is that enemies rarely ever tank. Well, they NEVER tank on Hardcore, but sometimes they "tank" for what would comparatively be tanking on Hardcore. Many guns kill with a single shot in Hardcore (if not, then the 2nd shot), so that takes away a lot of the bullshit factor experienced when you someone several times first, and then they finally get a beat on you with a stronger gun/lucky shot and you die from 1 hit.

The other hardest part about Hardcore is that your health never regenerates fully. If you're near death, your health will recover to about 50% (which is nothing on Hardcore, but enough to keep u alive). Hell, even on full health, on Hardcore you can kill people left and right using "Improvised" (which was, like, impossible on GE); peg someone with an EMP and they'll die from the impact on their body and not from the blast (which isn't lethal anyway).

So yeah, try playing Hardcore on your own sometime. I know that X and I must be stealing a lot of your kills. When I played GE with X, he would steal my kills left and right and his XP would always be bigger than mine and he'd sit at the top of the leaderboard, but when I'd play alone I would beast a lot harder cuz there's be more guys there for me to eat up. I think you'd get more kills if you played online alone for some rounds too.

But let me warn you: When you play Hardcore, at first you're going to get your ass handed to you. When I started off, my KDR in Hardcore was always bullshit. I think this is only natural since others claimed the same thing happened to them, so don't get discouraged. Take the beating up the ass for a while, but eventually you'll learn the ropes and you'll never have to deal with a bastard tanker again (unless you choose to go back to Core :P).

I'm kinda leary on Hardcore mode mainly because of "betrayal" booting.  You can try as best as you can not to fry your teammates, but it'll just take too many accidentals in a short time to get kicked and if you pile on too many kicks in a short time, you get banned and risk your stats and privs being revoked/resetted for further infractions including receiving a permanent ban from multiplayer.

But don't worry about you all taking kills.  Even if you guys weren't with me, there would still be other high leveled people of both camper and tanker variety taking all the kills in team matches. =P

Also I have a general idea of all the standard maps, but it's just the matter of learning where people like to camp, what points people like to fight for control over (if certain maps have that "king of the hill" spot), and the spawns.  I know Hijacked has f'd up spawns that you spawn on one side of the boat at one moment and on your next time killed, you get spawned on the opposite side.  It's highly likely you get spawned behind enemies just as likely they can spawn behind you on Hijacked.

You don't have to worry about getting your stats resetted or your accountnrevoked due to accidental teamkilling. I've reportedmany users for Boosting (helping the other team win) when they'd Flashbang me or hit me with a tactical ("Improvised") in order to deliberately inflict damage upon me without killing me, just to troll. They also flash you and then run right in front of you so that you'll accidentally kill them while you can't see their names and you get yourself kicked. I don't fall for that stupid shit anymore and I insult the faggots that try to kick me that way, but the point is that I've reported people for this kind of game-ruining activity and nothing bad has happened to them that I know of. They always return at the same level, even the next day.

Every game gets recorded, so if you are doing honest accidental team killing, you shouldn't have anything to worry about--especially since malicious team-killing and boosting don't seem to have any repercussions. That's why Treyarch included the auto-boot feature, so that team-killers (malicious or otherwise) will be dealt with automatically.

The worst thing that happens when u get kicked is that u get booted from the party. If you get kicked, X and I will gladly leave and pick you up again. Worst case from here is that we have issues reconnecting, for whatever stupid reason that it happens.

As for Spawns, this game generally spawns you close to one of your teammates, and spawns enemies on the OPPOSITE side that your team is on. When you see that most of your guys are onv one corner of the map, you know that most of the other fuckers are on the opposite corner. But when your team is spread out across the map, you can easily flip spawn sides as you mentioned on Hijacked. Hikacked is the easiest map to spawnkill people on and force them to spawnn on opposite sides. Sincd the enemy team spawns AWAY from your guys, if you run. Back and forth underneath the ship and wait there for a few moments, the team will start spawning on the other side. You get fucked with flip spawning when most of the enemy's troops are in the center and they try to spawn you on the side farthest from the enemy.
