Why do you want Microsoft to fail? And for that matter what do you mean by fail? They're (or should I say "it's." I can't remember if companies are referred in singular or plural) already behind the X1 so that can't be what you mean. Do you want them to exit the console race altogether? I don't see how less competition is good for the consumer.

(Excluding Wii,) 360 won the console war last time, so this time I want PS4 to be the clear winner. I actually want Wii U to rise above the rest, but I don't see that happening. :P I don't necessarily want M$ to leave the game console industry, but I want Xbone to be a lot less successful than PS4. FUCK YEAH, JAP DEVS.

Had I been going for the immature fanboyism with my statement, I think it would have needed more swearing and homophobic slurs against anyone who likes anything but Nintendo.

That is what we have Plant for. :P

I like the new option, saving a $100 by not having a feature I didn't care for anyway is fine by me. I don't wanty the One yet but I will need to get one eventually so I can play the new Batman game.

I guess I don't care either way? I'm torn between liking the idea of a $100-cheaper Xbox and the fact that Microsoft is dividing their Kinect install-base, so... I figured the two thoughts cancelled each other out.

It will help sell more Xboxes, though. Yep.

Actually, the PS3 outpaced the 360 in lifetime sales sometime in early 2013. If total sales are what makes you win a console war, then (ex...clusing? excluding Nintendo) Sony won...

Yeah, if you look at global sales. But I'm only talkin' about sales in Murrica Fuck Yeah.

Global Sales: PS3: 82.79 Million; 360: 81.30 Million

Murrica Sales: PS3: 28.47 Million; 360: 46.54 Million

The popularity of the 360 among the people I know was many times greater than that of the PS3. It's so much so, that I expected the sales numbers to stack at 5:1 in favor of M$, even though the 360-to-ps3 user ratio of ppl I know is much greater than 5:1.

Most (if not all) Japanese stopped stocking the 360 altogether after a certain point a few years ago, granted, because of a lack of initial demand, but it was still eventually harder to find there.

Gojiraland Sales: PS3: 9.98 Million; 360: 1.66 Million
