Pity Plant was too busy having geriatric intercourse, we could have used more humans (and Roboks). I'll post the final stats plus some pictures and movies tomorrow, once mariokart.tv updates its scores (since that's where I make my standings image from).
I do gotta give a tip o' the hat to NGamer01 for his skillful use of a Super Horn in Mute City. I was about to pass him and pull into 1st, but he blasted me and I fell back to 4th. I don't know if I recovered beyond that or not.
Fresh off the presses, here's the results from last night's tournament!
NGamer01 and I started out the night with about 6 races before Sam (SuperTeeter64) showed up. With the high number of CPU players, it wasn't really as exciting as past tournaments (everyone gets an easy pass for not making it, especially Robok with the new house, with the exception of gamerman99 - sports over MK? Whaaa? ). Yabo joined in with about 20 minutes to spare, so her score only reflects about 6-8 races I think. NGamer01 left a little before the end time, and missed a few races in between because of kart changes.
But we did have some neck-in-neck points of racing, like when the three of us were all jockeying for position around that pivotal Toad Harbor turn:
Ludwig: NGamer01, Tanookie Mario: Sam, Mii: Torgo
I can only assume that I came out on top because of the amazing combination of my Captain Falcon costume and that super-butch Prancer kart.
Here's a movie of one of our races that's sure to warm NGamer's heart, since it starts out with Yabo nailing him with a green shell right at the beginning.
And also, keep in mind that we have a Miiverse community for the tournament, which can be found here (I've also put this in the first post for general info). It appears that movies get posted directly there and might not show up in user's activity feeds for some reason.
It kills me that i keep missing week after week, but that flu i had a few days ago seems to be getting a second wind, and i'm having a hard time dragging myself out of bed, unless it's to run to the bathroom every 90 minutes or so.
