Ok--played so much more of this through my day. Caught lots of PoKeMoN--Abra, Drowzee, Squirtle, Shellder, Horsea, Venonat, Fearow, Spearow, among so many more. A landmark for a PoKestop is right by my work, and there's a pond there too for the water Pokémon. I saw outlines for Taurus, Dratini, and Vulpix, but alas, was unable to actually find them to try to catch em.
Gym battles are....interesting. Trying to get the hang of em still. I enjoy the Pokestops more now that I understand what to do at them. There are probably 8 to 12 at a nearby park, with 2 gyms. A park across the street from my work had 3 pokestops, and honestly, keeping up with the items hasn't been difficult for me.
I've gotten a few eggs, but don't know if they're incubating or not.
Overall, I'm enjoying it a ton. I've passed several others playing it too - 1at work, 2 at the park across the street, and several in the park by my place. The one gripe I have is the server connection issues, which I'm sure will be fixed all in due time.
Also noteworthy, according to Apple's i-Store or something, PoKeMoN Go is #1 grossing app. Sauce: Pokemon GO Is the Top Grossing App on the US App Store http://www.ign.com/a...e-us-app-store?
