Don't you get surf from the Safari Zone? (fake edit: yes, you do)

Ho figure. I need to just find it. But I thought I explored everywhere there was to explore, prior to obtaining Surf at least. Hmm.

I also have Balstoise, Dragonair, and soon Kadabra. And I beat everybody in the Silph building that was previously blocked by Team Rocket. I beat my rival, Team Rocket, & Giovanni back to back to back. I know there's still more places to visit though...

IIRC you have to get the Warden's glasses from his hut or something along those lines.

Have you gotten to Cinnebar Island yet? If so, there's a trick to more easily obtain Safari Zone pokemon. Wander around the Safari area with the pokemon you want until time runs out and they kick you out. Then immediately fly to Cinnebar and surf vertically along the right coast. Any pokemon from the last area you were in (including the Safari Zone) will be encountered on that thin strip of land. That coast is also how the infamous Missingno. glitch is done, but i usually just used it for Safari Zone pokes.

Also,

IIRC you have to get the Warden's glassesdentures from his hut or something along those lines.

fix'd

Holy shit, I never knew that, but considering how the Missigno glitch works, that makes total sense haha.

Wha... WHAT?! You NEVER fucking heard of this?! How the... Dude, how the FUCK?! You, of all people, didn't know that's how Missingno was encountered?!

Shit, this is also how the Infinite Item glitch is exploited, but I forgot how to do it. It involved doing exactly what Morgil said, but also catching a Missingno, and some other shit that I forgot. I recall this being mostly exploited for Rare Candies, but I think it could also be done with Master Balls and other shit, too. This is the very first Pokémon glitch I ever heard about--from fellow classmates back in middle school--though I could not make it work on Yellow Version because it was patched out. I guess they didn't patch it out of Red/Blue's VC releases tho. :P

...but seriously, what the fuck, praim?!

No, I know exactly how Missingno is encountered and how the item duplication glitch works, down to the technical level. I didn't know, or rather didn't realize, you could force Safari Zone Pokémon to appear that way. That's why I said "considering how the Missingno glitch works, that makes total sense haha", because I knew how it works, and if you know how it works then it should be completely obvious that the same trick could be used to force Safari Zone Pokémon to appear. It just never occurred to me.

I do remember doing this forever ago actually. I did the Missingno thing. And I think while surfing is when you find these PoKeMoN, correct? However, I have not yet gotten to Cinnebar. I just got to the sea foam islands. And it was the warden's gold teeth, then he gave me the HM for Strength. I didn't know they did away with that on Yellow; that's the version I'm playing.

Ah yeah, I was combining how you get Surf and Strength. Surf you have to get the secret house in the last area of the Safari Zone, which requires you to be very conservative with your steps. Here's a map:

Caught Articuno after about 5 tries. Also, having trouble finding where the other boulders are to push through so I can surf in the one area. When does the HM for Fly come up again? I'll be honest, I'm not really sure where to go from here.
