A heads up to anybody that follows these things, hearing rumblings on Reddit's PoGo page about nests/spawn points changing. Will report back after I do some scans and a bit more research.

FYI, nests have been changed again, and several trackers have been shut down again.

The event went live at 5 PDT (well, 4:40-ish actually). It seems that Meowth/Persian and Cubone/Marowak are also more common now, which sucks because Meowth and Cubone are common as shit in Arizona and everywhere around where I live ONLY got bumps in those. No Gastly or Drowzee out here, just a couple commons getting bumped to ultra common... Ah well, at least school is good for Drowzee. Gastly not so much, but a mile or so north at Tempe Town Lake the Gastly line replaced all the natural water spawns, so they're common as fuck there. Like, I checked the map and saw multiple Gengar and Haunter and like a dozen Gastly.

Also, they added a new login screen.

After a family Halloween party yesterday, i went trick or treating with my sister and cousins and all their kids, and naturally i had PoGo running the whole time. With the candy bonuses, i was able to get my pikachu up to 42 candies. If i can just manage to get two more KM before the halloween event ends, i should have enough to evolve it. I also had a couple of eggs hatch, including a 10km egg which gave me this:

I also caught plenty of ghastly, haunter and gengar, as well as a surprising amount of cubone and meowth, both of whom were rare in my areas until now. I was even able to get enough candy to evolve them. Also, even though i caught a wild gengar, i had enough candy to evolve the highest level ghastly i could find all the way up to a 1200CP gengar. Over all, i had a good night.

With the event coming to a close, here's what I managed to snag out of it:

Haunter (catch)
Gengar (catch)
Hypno (catch)
Cloyster (evolve via buddy walk candy)
Slowbro (evolve via buddy walk candy)
Wartortle (evolve via buddy walk candy - already had the candy, was waiting on enough to get Blastoise)
Blastoise (evolve via buddy walk candy)

I also got enough candy to evolve my Voltorb via double candy and two nest visits, over 300 Gastly candy total so I can get a couple fresh Gengars and power them up, a few hundred Drowzee candy, over 200 more Magikarp candy (now sitting at 290 - GETTING THERE), and fucking stupid amounts of Cubone and Meowth candy.

I also randomly caught a Machamp during the event, but that was unrelated to the event itself. :P

So it seems the Halloween event went a extra day, and i was able to get a few more ghastly and the last three pikachu candies i needed while i was farting around town today. It seemed like it finally ended sometime between 3 and 4pm (my time), as it was still going when i went to get my haircut and was over by the time i left. Still, i'm glad, because it allowed me to finally get this:

Now that that's done, i switched my buddy over to a charmander, even though the x4 bonus is gone. Hopefully i'll get enough to evolve it someday.
