IGN made this a couple days ago. I'm guilty of it, but don't Pokémon GO and Drive, people! :P

FYI, the point of this thread is specifically to talk about your in-game experiences. The other topic is for anything else.

Not unless you want the egg tiers to be:

1.24274238 miles
3.10685596 miles
6.21371192 miles

The point of using km here is so that they can keep the hatch distances the same while also keeping them simple and clean. If they switched to miles the US would either need to have different distances from the rest of the world, giving us either an unfair advantage or disadvantage, or use the values I have above (which are equal to 2km, 5km, and 10km respectively).

@egg tiers, are those legit, or did you pull those numbers out of ur bunghole? ...cuz I don't get how tier 1 > 3 < 6..?

... what?

Yes, they're legit. Like I said, those are 2, 5, and 10km converted to miles. What are you going on about with "tier 1 > 3 < 6"?

Edit: ... dude... Those are decimals.

LOL, I thought that was Egg Tier 1, 3, and 6. I was wondering why you skipped Tier 2, 4, and 5. :D

Man, i kept getting a lot of errors today, but at least i was able to get to level 8 and get the bait. I even used it right away to catch a pidgeotto as i was leaving work. Now if i can just get to whatever level gets you great balls.

I caught a Snorlax last night. It's CP is like, 48 or something, lol.

Also, a tip: hold off on evolutions (and save some Rattata and Pidgey to evolve) and evolve them all at once while a Lucky Egg is active. Evolutions are a worth a good bit of EXP and Lucky Eggs double your gains, so if you do it right you can jump a huge amount all at once with a single Lucky Egg.

Missed 2 squirtles today because they ran away :( on the upside though, caught a snorlax, starmie, golduck, and Dratini. Also, level 17 now. About to pop a lucky egg and evolve tons of Pokémon to hit level 18.

;dSo i had to leave a little early for work today cuz i had to run to the bank, so i figured then that i could leave even earlier and make a run to some of the pokestops in town. I found that i can easily make a full, single loop around the one section of town in my car and spin every pokestop as i drive past them. Granted, i have to be extra careful when doing that shit while driving. Unless i can actually stop somewhere, i just ignore any pokes that appear and only spin the spots. That being said, as i was about to leave my driveway, i saw a Ghastly by my mailbox, and i also found a Tauros in the parking lot of the bank. I also spotted the silhouette of a Wartortle (without having even found any squirtles yet) on my radar, but i didn't have time to try and track it down cuz it was getting late and i needed to get my ass to work. Also, I had one of my eggs hatch while driving. I thought I heard somewhere that you have to walk to hatch eggs, using a phone's pedometer, but i guess not since driving seems to work just fine.

So then at work today, about halfway through my shift, my boss comes up to me and goes "There's a Tauros in the dining room! Quick, take your break now and go catch it!" :D Other then that, i just mostly caught the usual pidgeys, rattatas, and weedles. I did, however, finally get enough eevees to have enough candy to evolve one. I got a Flareon, which is exactly the one i was hoping it'd become. Then after work, i did a second lap around town and hit all the pokestops again.

I did just that when i got home today. In addition to the above mentioned Eevee, i also evolved 4 weedles, 6 pidgeys, and 3 rattatas. With the egg in effect, it gave me 1,000 exp per pokemon, and i jumped up from level 8 to just a few thousand short of level 11. Thanks for great tip.
