Dammit, Prune, I was gonna post this and be the hero!

Why you take that away from me?

You too can be the hero. All you need to do is import one and send it to me. The future of CS depends on it!

For real though, if anyone wants one Amazon Japan is shipping these to the US. All you gotta do is log into with your normal Amazon credentials and order it as usual. You may need to manually switch the language to English though.

I can be a hero too (I'm sure Prune didn't post this just to make me happy):

The UK video is up, which is basically the same info, but in a language the rest of us can understand. Aside from a little bit about 50hz vs 60hz gameplay, it should all be applicable to the US:

Final Fantasy 3 is clearly better than the first one, right? If I understand correctly, that one established some of the series staples, such as the summons. I really don't know much about the older games, but I'd prefer to have FF3 over FF1. Oh well. I don't think be getting this at all. :P

The Famicom edition comes with a My Nintendo code granting gold coins. I assume the NES version does as well. That makes this the first retail product to grant My Nintendo points. While it was likely inevitable anyway, this seems to confirm that physical NX games, and possibly the NX itself, will also come with codes.

I can help you get Final Fantasy III:  https://www.amazon.c...S/dp/B000GABOTU

DS version though, not the NES original that Square once skipped over bringing to the US once upon a time...

Final Fantasy 3 sucks.

I dunno.

I hated it.

XD
Even the DS remake.

Maybe I'm just crazy.

Honestly I liked FF1 more.

Didn't FF1 have generic nameless characters for the party? Did FF3 do the same thing? Or is this true for neither of them? I thought that for sure FF1 had no names, and may have retroactively added names in the DS remake.

FF3 does have character names and all that jazz. FF1 indeed has name and make up your party deal.

FF1 has no names. FF3 was no name in the original version, but the DS remake gave them names and personalities.
