Viz is localizing the Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire manga with the first volume out sometime in September 2016.   OR/AS manga will pick up right where the original Pokemon Adventures: Ruby and Sapphire manga left off.

Here is the full rundown:

- manga series based on Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire
- localized by Viz Media
- Pokémon Adventures author Hidenori Kusaka and artist Satoshi Yamamoto are working on the project
- continues the storyline of the original Pokémon Adventures Ruby and Sapphire comic
- kicks off with Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald doing everything they can to stop a meteor on a collision course with Earth
- first volume is expected to release in September 2016
- gift set from Viz Media this October includes both volumes of Santa Harukaze’s Pokémon Pocket Comics
- set includes two books: one on Pokémon B/W characters and one that highlights Legendaries like Black Kyurem
- both books feature humorous four-panel comics and come with additional trivia questions, quizzes, and puzzles
- originally sold for $9.99 when they were originally released, but the box set is being sold for $16.99

Man, i hate this stupid mini-volume shit they keep doing. They did the same with Black/White and X/Y. I'd rather just wait for the full volumes to release. The full volume versions of the entire Black/White arc are now available, and from what i've read on Bulbapedia, there is quite a lot of differences between the two versions, in terms of scenes being added or re-ordered, or fixed art mistakes or the like. With this new arc, i'd rather just do the same as B/W and just wait until they eventually get collected into volumes.
