It's been known for awhile that the emulators that power Wii U Virtual Console may not always be great, but an outrage has bubbled up after Nintendo of Europe's adding of F-Zero X to Wii U VC.
Apparently the emulation never took into account the Wii U Control Sticks' Dead Zones, so just tilting in a direction slightly will result in your vehicle violently swerving/drifting as if you were smashing the sticks.
Wii U Virtual Console has often been criticized for poor emulation and/or input lag (not helping is the need to darken everything as an anti-epilepsy measure -- and anti-lawsuit measure -- which adds to input lag).
So yeah NoA probably will delay the Wii U F-Zero X VC release here until the emulation can be fixed. If you need your F-Zero X fix, get it out of the Wii Shop Channel on Wii for now (if you don't have the N64 original and an actual N64).
