I'm making this thread mostly because
I don't get to hear Plant bitch about things he doesn't like enough I'm the only person on here who has any remote likelihood of getting this (as I'm the only one with a child), so nobody else is going to make it.
I won't belabor what Labo is, we all know it. But things just got interesting since Nintendo has announced the "Toy Con Garage" functionality of Labo. Kotaku has an article here:
There'll probably be a YouTube video later about it, but it basically sounds like a very simple visual programming language to make your own Labo stuff, wherein you can reprogram behaviors and map actions to button presses and stuff. This is what's really going to get Labo going, when people who are inclined to hack with stuff like this (myself included) get going on it, and use it to make things that Nintendo never thought of.
I can't wait until someone publishes plans for a Labo-compatible 3D printed "massaging device" that you slip a Joy-Con into, which allows someone to pleasure their partner from across the room, controlled by the touch screen.
It's going to happen.
