football, surfing/swimming, paintball, weightlifting, painting, writing, genetics, not biochemistry, philosophy, ranchwork, [adult swim], fire in general, but more specifically when it is being spewed or sprayed, the sky, most outdoor activities that I don't get to do much anymore (hunting, fishing, etc), and of course, video games
I'm a member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2008 Genetics major/Philosophy minor who is now 22 and graduating in May. I'm an old member of the Temple, and while I definitely wasn't as active as some of the guys, I did post quite a bit when I was active. I'm not around much here any more because I'm pretty busy with school and research and job searching and gaming... and I kind of fell out of touch with all this a while back, unfortunately. Feel free to message me though, I still get notifications about this place :P and I'm usually pretty good about getting back with you. I'm friendly, I promise.
I'm pretty much a professional bullshitter, being into philosophy, but that's tempered by a good dose of science and reason with the genetics and all; that's why I talk a lot and my posts end up being pretty long. I still miss being out in nature, especially some of the physical labor that came along with living on a small ranch, but really I think it's just that social structures frustrate me sometimes. If you want to look me up on Facebook or MySpace, send me a PM.
As far as video games go, I'm down for pretty much anything. I will say I'm a Nintendo fan all the way; don't like the tag "fanboy" because I'm not foaming at the mouth or batshit insane, but I'll take (classic) Ninty over anything else any day. That said, I'm down for pretty much any kind of online action. I have a Wii, and for DS I have Animal Crossing, but I'm fairly certain my town is completely dead, and Pokemon Diamond. I've played the PS3 and was not as impressed as I feel I should have been, but I'll give them a little time still; they have a lot of hardware to work with. 360 is pretty much awesome and I'm getting one of my own soon. When I get a PS3 is dependent on me getting a job when I graduate this semester, and getting a really nice TV first.
My sigs are there to eliminate confusion about my screen name. Back at LT, there were some people who didn't quite get it. For those who still don't, it's an amalgamation of Tyler Durden and Mickey O'Neil, two badass characters from badass movies (Fight Club and Snatch, respectively). Go watch them. Now.
And yes, that is me with my flamethrower. :D
