Well Infinite Warfare beta has started... And it's not looking any good.
I AM WILDCAT (near 6 hour livestream):
So far it's looking like Ghosts map design plus time-to-kill (unless you're using a shitty gun), Advanced Warfare weapons (variants), and Black Ops 3 movement systems. That's right. Supply drops are in the beta and you can craft weapon variants if you don't want to pay-to-win. Also quickscoping is back with a vengeance.
It's looking like Infinite Warfare is going to be dead at the start of next year either because people will go to CoD 4 Remastered or they go back to Black Ops 2 for another year. Black Ops 3 didn't survive the full CoD year. People bailed on that game six months after launch, so I doubt anyone would like to return to it unless they want a million shitty combat knife reskins and over-powered Blackjack and the Purifier specialist weapon.
EDIT - Ali-A (fan-vid sent to Ali):
Welp. Depending on the mode, the nuke can end games instantly a la Modern Warfare 2. You just need to get 25 gun/C4/grenade/melee consecutive kills with no Pointstreak kills and Payload kills being counted toward nukes.
Also you might get lucky and get easy bosses right off the bat, though that might be a waste of some good potions if that happens unless they throw some harder bosses after one to a few easy ones...
Anyways I'm playing Skies of Arcadia: Legends. I've just rescued all the Air Pirates and Fina from Valua and rearmed & requipped myself back on Pirate Island. I'm about to set out looking for the six Moon Crystals. I'm also still playing Pokken Tournament. I just made B-Rank to qualify for Red League in the Ferrum League (single player campaign).
Other games I'm playing are just various online games (including Mario Kart 8 for MK8 nights) for posting recordings to YouTube.
Apparently Forest Water, an item only thought to be used for a side-quest, can kill the second major boss in the game, Kalle Demos. You need to use the Boomerang to cut the vines to open Kalle's core and then pour Forest Water on the core for an instant kill. This trick even works in the GameCube original version of Wind Waker!
So yeah this will help any speed runners that have business going through the Forest Temple in either version of Wind Waker.
I figure now is as good as time as any to bring up something since we're nearing the end of Year 2 of CS tourneys for MK 8.
For year 3, for those days we want a change of pace, do we want to dig out Mario Kart 7? I understand since there may be nobody at CS that has a 3DS capture card, we would only race for fun instead of racing in a tournament. We could also swap in Super Smash Bros. 4 or Splatoon if we are all Mario Kart'd out on certain Thursdays in the future.
I just figured I'd raise a discussion in advance and hopefully help stave off the ol' "same ol', same ol'".

Final Fantasy 3 is clearly better than the first one, right? If I understand correctly, that one established some of the series staples, such as the summons. I really don't know much about the older games, but I'd prefer to have FF3 over FF1. Oh well. I don't think be getting this at all.

Well here's something hilarious. Nintendo accidentally put up the full game on the Wii U eShop instead of the preload file so those that tried to get the preload ended up getting the full digital game instead: http://gonintendo.co...line-players-ac
Please note that NOA will probably be aggressively issuing cease & desists and copyright takedowns to suppress spoilers. If you happened to get an early copy via the Wii U eShop before Nintendo took it down, do not post anything online about it for another couple of weeks.

So if anyone hasn't been checking back lately, both Ubisoft and The Pokemon Company have been talking a lil' about NX teasing us about what's coming. Of course I don't buy the talk from Ubisoft. They're saying the same shit they said pre-Wii U and we all know how that ended.
