Infinity Wars. Go watch it now. I am speechless.

Gonna see this tomorrow, though I don't give a shit about seeing it. Just tagging along with Yori and a couple of her friends. I missed most of the comic book movies because I got tired of seeing them get shat out rapid-fire. The novelty went to hell, and I only watched the ones (A) I really wanted to see, or (B) was dragged into seeing. I guess Avengers 3 will fit the latter bill. I saw the first Avengers in theaters... I don't recall much of it, aside from being underwhelmed due to fan hype prior to watching it, and... well, not finding it very interesting in general. I prefer the movie just focus on a 1 or 2 characters.

But yeah, I'll give my impressions tomorrow. Hopefully I'll like it more this time, since I have anti-hype, if anything, lol.

So, about 120 hours later, I just finished Yakuza 0. Fuckin awesome game. The Yakuza game stories are always good, especially in their final acts, but 0 is clearly the best one so far... Out of the ones I've played, namely Yakuza 5, Kiwami (1 remake), and now 0. I already have Yakuza 6 on digital preorder, and it comes out next week. My body is ready.

Game is available for purchase http://store.steampo..._Land_of_Glass/

Could this be easily ported to Switch using touch screen controls? I dunno what it'd take, but I think I'd feel badass if I were you and I had a fucking Switch game on the eShop. :P You know I'm not really into indie games, but I'd probably get it if it were on a console.

Easily the longest zelda game to finish the main story.

Lol, impossible. That's literally the shortest one, with ppl legit speedrunning it in minutes or whatever. What a fucking joke.

@TP, you're probably right. It too Torgo a year. :P
(Then again, it took me a year to beat FE: Awakening :P)

#16525003 Chozo Crazy 8s Game Night

Chozo Crazy 8s Game Night

2-8-2018%20Icon.png February 8, 2018: "You're a squid now, you're a kid now." 2-8-2018%20Icon.png

This week marks the first time we've played Splatoon 2 for the CC8 game night. While we hoped to have 6 people show up, Sam was off doing real-life things again (such a bad habit), and honorary-but-not-yet-member gamerman99 was unable to join at the last minute. That left myself, Ngamer, Morgil, and Crazed to squid it up as much as we could.

We managed to get on the same team 3 times out of 14 rounds, and all in all a good time was had. The one benefit of just having 4 of us is that after an hour of Turf War, we were able to go do some Salmon Run together, too!
Thanks to the Switch mobile app, there was lots of data about our matches that I could collate into interesting charts. Wins, losses, splats, deaths, assists, it's all there! Prepare yourself, Crazed!
First off, we have a chart showing general stats info for each of us, such as total points inked, average points per match, splats, assists, deaths, and special firings.

Both Crazed and Morgil were a bit short of the total match count.

To better represent the splats vs. deaths and wins vs. losses, I've gone to exciting pie charts, one for each player!

Many people got a bunch of clothes ranked up, and both Ngamer and Crazed broke through to level 10 last night, allowing them to play Ranked Battle. Perhaps the next time we play we'll take some time to do League Battle, assuming they also get to B- in one of the Ranked modes before then. In lieu of doing League, we took a break at the end of help Mr. Grizz get some salmon eggs. We played a handful of matches, and only didn't get through all 3 levels once, so that made Mr. Grizz happy. With more practice, better weapons, and a less challenging stage, who knows what we can accomplish as a communicating team!
While we had plenty of text chat going on, nobody made a comic - too busy playing in the ink. Luckily Ngamer had the wherewithal to furnish us with this token one afterwards.

Be sure to check out Crazed's highlight video that he shared in the cc8 text chat last night (he should really post it here, too) from last week's MK 8 tournament. I might put together a montage of our 3 Team CS rounds, but everything else was pretty run-of-the-mill I'd say, from a video standpoint.
Plans are underway for next week, let's see who can come and what we'll play!
If you ask Bowser, he'll say he's neither squid nor kid, but he'll always say,

Cool charts, fam.
Didn't know how you could do it for other games. :P

^Sounds like you bought the Groundhog Day Edition. :3

I was replying to Morgil. :P

>Edit 2: New page now, lol. So here is the Morgil quote I was replying to:

So late last night, my pre-loaded copy of Dragon Quest Builders activated, and i was able to get about an hour-hour and a half in before going to bed. Unfortunately, nothing from the demo was able to be transferred over to the full version, meaning i had to recreate my character and start everything over from scratch. Even worse was that the game crashed at one point before i could reach the first save point, so i had to go through the tutorial twice. I'm not entirely sure what caused it, but after finishing up the basic tutorial, i had wondered off a little instead of going straight to the mission objective, which was when the crash occurred. On the second time through, once i finished up the tutorial and got outside, i pretty much just made a beeline for the mission objective and activated the first save point. Everything seemed fine after that, and things went smoothly. I completed a few of the early missions before turning it off and going to bed.

While it sucks that all my progress from the demo is lost, i do look forward to progressing beyond what the demo showed me and getting to do new shit and see new areas. I've heard that you'll eventually get to see some familiar faces from the first DQ game.

Also, don't overlook Ngamer's ninja post before this one. :P

All of my private students (kids) want this.

Yes I'm that cool teacher who wastes their parents money talking about video games in their lessons.

+1 Yeah for wasting parent money.
-1 Yeah for talking about Labo.

Am I, Robok? Am I?
I think you're just afraid how awesome my idea is, and how likely it is to come true.

But actually didn't think you were at first and didn't know what Robox was talking about, but now that I actually read it for comprehension, I see that you did indeed mix up some games there.

Btw, I've been playan Tomb Raider [reboot]: Definitive Edition, and saving video clips to create a vid of my play time on it. I'm near the end now; just trying to get some Trophies, but I know I won't get them all because many are allocated to multiplayer, and fuck that shit.

I hope this is an AR racing game where you play while driving your car and only functions when you're driving over the local speed limit.

PS4 library > Switch Library it's only natural. You don't need to balance it out for nintendo, they just need to keep working on good games.
I'm gonna get Shadow of The Colossus too eventually.

Agreed. Don't buy extra shitty games just to justify the $400 you spent on Nintendo's console. Spend your time and money elsewhere until Nintendo makes something worth spending your play time. There will inevitably be at least a handful of great games on Switch--so far only Mario Odyssey fits this bill--but at the end of its life, there will be a solid 6 or so games that will make it worthwhile. For now, just play the infinitely better games on the other consoles.

@Shower of the Colonics,
I dunno if I wanna double dip on that, even though it's a full remake and not just an HD re-release (what I have on PS3--for free, thanks to the free monthly offerings of AAA games; take note, Nintendo, you stingy fucks who have eShop "sales" and virtually exclusively discount indie trash). It was good the first time through, but I think that one of the greatest draws of that game is the discovery of the colossi. Once you already know them all (and how to defeat them), it's basically just good for speedrunning... for trudge-ass speedrunning on that huge overworld. But yeah, it's not a bad game. By the time you get though your backlog, it'll probably have gone through a discount or sweet-ass sale price to snag it along the way.

Lots of complaints regarding the 2.5 ft controller wire with reviewers.

Are you fucking kidding me? That's not a typo? That's the shortest, most bullshit cord length in the history of fucking everything. Who WOULDN'T bitch about this dumb shit?
