#16525230 E³ 2018 Predictions/Wishes

  • F-Zero RPG: Come enjoy the side of Captain Falcon that we never see, in this new RPG that revolves around the Captain's bounty hunting job. Track enemies on foot, interact with single-phrase NPCs to track them down, and try to build up enough bounty to get a new door put on the Blue Falcon so that you can drive it again. No racing in this game, the end rewards is rebuilding the Blue Falcon so that you can watch a cut scene of it driving away. Collect Battle Sticker GX items throughout the game to use in your enemy encounters and fill up your museum. Get 100% of them to unlock a remake of the Nintendo Land F-Zero racing game to play on your Switch!

My favorite line. Bravo, good sir!

Godammit, Plant, don't you tire of being wrong all the time?! Everytime I see one of your post I shudder at the thought of reading more of your bullshit!

For the love of all that is good, they're called RINGS, not COINS!

GAWD!

As long as you have data presented in the form of graphs, I'll follow you to hell.

It was not long after uploading CC8s 2-15-18 I realized I skipped over a clip I wanted to add to that video. Initially, I decided to simply upload that clip as its own video, however it just seem too bare, so I spruced it up a bit by creating an intro.

Thinking it was odd to have a 6 second intro for a 10 second video, I decided to quickly throw in some of the clips that were left on the cutting room floor and call it a day, but I really got into it and did little post-production work.

I might do this more often as I have quite a few clips that seemed fun, but was unable to make it work with the final product.

Oh, and sorry about that popping sound, I don't know why that's happening. Hopefully I'll have it figured out by the next video.

I liked the Ngamer tribute in there. And good job pointing out who the real villain of Mario Kart is: J9!

I've been suspicious of her villainous behavior for someone now. When I was playing against random players on the Wii U I ran into someone that was an excellent racer that looked awfully similar to J9.
Spoiler

After last week, I now know the true nature of our wiggler-riding friend!

I'm on to you "Jackie-O"! I'm on to you!

[...] a new overall high-score for a tournament at 358 points (sorry Sam, you had other things to do, and so were unseated from your highest-score-ever status).

That'll teach you to get your priorities straight, Teeter!

Now what to do about that Morgil...

I wanted to have this up before the tournament last night, but a few setbacks prevented that from happening. It's ready now, so why not sit back, relax, and enjoy some highlights from a tournament of old?

Well? I asked you "why not," so what's you're answer?

Oh, right this is not a real-time conversation. After ten years of posting on this forum I should know this by know.

As previously mentioned by torgo, I created video highlighting some fun moments from last week's Mario Kart Tournament.

Plant, you may want to watch this video as I answer the question you pose last week. Sorry I waited so long to respond, but I think you'll be most satisfied with my answer. ;)

I may make another video highlighting the events of last night, but I don't know if I captured enough material to warrant it. If anything else, it'll be practice for some ideas I have involving Splatoon.

Not since Thanksgiving have I feasted upon such a bounty of pies. Scrumptious.

Huh, I did better than I thought. I honestly thought my splat-to-splatted ratio was very far worse than that. Good for me. Bad for my enemies.

Thank you, torgo!

I guess I don't need to use that thing any more.

[...]

Ngamer's chosen special rule is:

Mirror Mode!

For his special course selection, he has none.  But that'll make sense going along with the fact that every race should be random! Hopefully the RNG will be better than on Crazed's birthday. ;)

Yeah, no it won't. I've been meaning to get around to this a month or so ago but I haven't done so for reasons.

I was looking back at some of your old tournament write-ups and video highlights when I came across this lil' gem from Ngamer01's previous birthday:

We also learned important things about how Mario Kart 8 course selection works: it doesn't work very well when we all choose Random all the time. For whatever reason, we played Ribbon Road about 4 times from Random selections, Neo Bowser City 2 or 3 times, and Wario Gold Mine 2 or 3 times. With all
the tracks to choose from, the RNG seemed to have bad case of tunnel vision this time around.

Here are the link to torgo's post if you guys want to read it in its entirety.

Remember, those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Apparently two or three times.
